First, the environment that needs to be clearly labeled
Especially for UHF RFID products, metals and liquids have a large impact on their performance. Therefore, whether the application environment is metal or non-metal, liquid or plastic, glass, wood, etc., is the primary consideration.
This will directly determine the broad category of UHF RFID tag selection. Conventional labels cannot be used directly on metal surfaces. Only specially designed metal-resistant labels have good performance on metal surfaces, and such labels are generally bonded to a metal surface with better performance.
The performance of UHF RFID tags is susceptible to environmental impact. If it is necessary to determine whether the product is suitable for the actual application environment, the performance that must be directly used for testing on the object is valuable in the pre-test phase.

Second, the label recognition distance needs to be delineated
The reading distance is also directly related to the reader and the antenna. It is necessary to clarify the mounting position and angle relationship between the tag and the reader antenna. At the same time, the parameters of power selection, antenna gain, polarization mode, and radiation angle are all categories that need to be considered.
In the entire RFID system, every detail can affect the actual reading distance, and whether it can finally meet the project requirements, even the length of the feeder (the cable connecting the antenna and the reader) needs to be considered.

Third, the size of the label needs to have a clear understanding and reasonable understanding
In many of our past project experiences, customers often want the label size to be small, which is both good-looking and easy to install.
However, the size of the label is just one of the main factors determining the performance of the label. In general, the larger the size, the better the label performance can be designed, and the size is also related to the media environment in which the label is located, the substrate of the label, and the like. At the same time, the package form of the label is directly related to the cost of the label. These are all factors that must be considered when doing the customer's operation.

Does the label have environmental reliability requirements such as temperature and humidity resistance?
What is the required data capacity to be written to the label?
What is the maximum number of tags that need to be read at one time?
